These are our Most Important Event because it is the one time when there is the potential for the whole membership to meet in one place to share information, renew old friendships, forge new friendships, enjoy social interaction.
Our monthly meeting is held on the second Tuesday of every month, except August, at Elmwood Church Hamstead Hill B20 1BU from 10am till 12 midday. There is a charge of £3 to attend which helps to pay for the room hire and the speaker.
We have a variety of interesting and entertaining speakers at these meetings followed by refreshments and conversation.
Booking a place on our popular outings is done at this meeting and it is the first place potential new members come to take a sample of what is on offer. We offer a warm welcome to new members so please come and pay us a visit.
Outings
There are monthly days out by coach from April to October. The monthly meeting is the place to register interest and book a place. All coach outings start from Elmwood Church.
Local outings monthly throughout the year may vary in starting point, some start from Elmwood, others from a local bus stop or meet at the destination.
Charity Fund Raising Events. We have two social events every year where we raise money for our chosen charity, one in the summer, the other at Christmas. Our charity for the year will be voted for at the AGM on April 11th
