6Th May 2025. Another fine Tuesday in the chase where we heard Cuckoos on Milford common. We visited the famous "Groot Tree" with the Tolkien connection. It is said to have inspired his Treebeard character in Lord of the Rings. Lunch at The Barley Mow pub Milford.
